and Open Question: What are some great fights from the 80's which rarely or never receives much discussion? We all love the great 80′s of boxing because there were so many great and exciting fights to choose from. Hagler-Hearns was a WAR which still gets talked about til this very day. Duran-Barkley was an inspirational fight which showed a 37-year old Duran duking it out and fighting his very best to lift the WBC middleweight title off of the younger Barkley and even flooring him in the eleventh round en route to a split decision win. Of course, let’s not forget the Baddest Man on the Planet who dominated the Heavyweight division from 86-90 until his shocking upset loss to Buster Douglas in Tokyo, Japan. (We at the Yahoo forum will never hear the end of Who would win between Tyson or Ali). But there are great fights which gets overlooked during this time despite being thrilling, action packed fights. Some of my favorites are the Chacon-Boza Edwards wars and Roger Mayweather vs. Harold Brazier. Those were some great, exciting fights. So what great fights from the 80′s rarely or never gets much of a discussion?, more

Open Question: Will it be easy for Floyd Mayweather Jr to clean up and retire the P4P best again? I think the Pretty Boy can come back & sweep up some un finished business and retire again.
There is nobody out there that is a serious threat to a Mayweather Jr that is still in his prime., more
and Open Question: How do you find your ideal fighting weight? Im doing sport specific weight training to develop my punching power and strength in the clinch and to get some basic body armour to asorb punches. Im obviously avoiding any bodybuilding techniques as these are not desired for an athlete however I put on muscle very quick my weight is increasing as is my general strength to weight ratio which I keep a close eye on. My question is how do you find your ideal fighting weight is it better to cut to get into a weight division that you are borderline too heavy for or put on muscle to keep in the higher range of your natural weight division? How do you know what your natural weight division is because im putting on muscular weight fast from the training and I havnt finished growing yet?!
Best regards!, more
